Testimonial

I am so thrilled with my yard, tree removal. l am a huge fan of trees so I let several get too big in my smallish yard. Plus I had a very large ornamental cherry with wilt that was finally end of life. The walk through and planning w/Dale gave me a good feeling- each tree plan was detailed. So the day of removal - I couldt watch - while he assure me they would do their best with the rest of the yard and plants I was scared. Ultimately I was truly amazed by the job! It seemed they plucked the tree from above, cleaned up all the debris, raked and barely touched the environment. The big Cherry and even 3 other 12"-14" that were squeezed in, and trimming other plants squeezed up against my house. Absolutely priceless results, wonderful sense and eye!! Thank you! Thank you! A+ in all regard! Stellar job!!

Silent Rock Tree Service took down a large, diseased dogwood in my yard. Dale, the certified arborist/owner, was punctual, informative, and diligent. I have many plants growing around and under the tree and he took extra care to skillfully place cut branches away from the garden. The area was cleaned-up beautifully. Dale gave me 5 Star Service. I highly recommend this business. 100% happy I hired Silent Rock Tree Service.

Very knowledgeable and professional. Took care to do the job right! Cleaned up after themselves and left the yard looking like they were never there. Would definitely recommend them for any tree job.

He is a pleasure to work with and is well equipped to handle difficult and tricky projects. I couldn't be more thrilled with his work. You can trust him -- and that is the ultimate recommendation.

Dale was kind, courteous, fair and professional. He explained the process for a complicated limb removal on a very large tree that impacted my neighbors. I had several bids done at the time but no one matched Dales thorough explanations and professionalism. l have used Dale and his team twice and both times they were on time, on budget and took care in cleaning up and putting everything back after their work. I would recommend Dale to any friend or neighbor.

Dale is experienced, is well informed and also loves his work. It reflects on his workmanship. He started and completed the project effortlessly and left nothing behind for us to clear or take care of. He was punctual and very clear about what can be done or not. We definitely would refer Silent Rock Tree Service to others.

After evaluating multiple services, I elected to go with Dale and his team. Their pricing was competitive but what impressed me was Dale’s knowledge and in depth discussion/analysis of what would be feasible for tree health. Many others would just simply do what was asked, Dale took the time to go through what options were and what would be best from a longevity standpoint. Two of my neighbors also elected to use SRTS and were very pleased with the work.

I recently hired Dale at Silent Rock Tree Service to handle several trees around my Portland, OR home, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! Dale pruned a dogwood, three large maples, and removed a Sycamore Maple, along with two small apple trees that just weren’t thriving. From start to finish, Dale's communication was outstanding. He was quick to respond to my questions, showed up on time, and stuck to the original quote. His team was friendly, professional, and clearly knowledgeable, with years of experience. Dale really took the time to prioritize the health of my trees, offering thoughtful advice on how best to care for them moving forward. The work was done efficiently and with great care, and I’m thrilled with the outcome. The pricing was also reasonable, especially considering the quality of service. I highly recommend Silent Rock Tree Service to anyone in need of expert tree care — Dale is a trustworthy and skilled professional who truly knows his craft!

Dale and Vern just left my house and I felt that I had to leave this review, even though I don't normally leave reviews. These guys removed a massive nuisance tree that had been allowed to gradually explode over the past decade, engulfing phone and ethernet cables, power lines, fencing, and probably the foundation of the house. Honestly, I was dubious that they'd be able to take it down in a single day, given how dense and tangled this tree was. However, not only did they crush the job in a single day, but they did it without at all affecting any of the cables that were ensnarled in the branches, and they also cleaned up the entire yard. I am beyond impressed, and so grateful, especially because Dale did this work at such a fair price. Long story short, today I learned that if you have a hairy, delicate, hopeless tree situation and need a couple of friendly, competent professionals to help you out, this is the business to call. Thank you so much, Dale and Vern!
